Who do I work for?
I’m open to clients from all walks of life. I've managed a wide range of events, from family-friendly music festivals to queer sex parties, corporate sustainability conferences to tantra festivals. Amongst many other things, I also have a background in permaculture, bush regeneration, journalism, and intentional community building.
Private Events
As well as public events, I offer all the same services for private events - weddings*, birthdays, funerals, memorials, births, divorces, experiences of illness and recovery, and other rite of passage moments. I really believe that, as a society, we need to spend more time and attention on marking threshold crossings in our lives. These moments matter. I can help you to design a highly personal ceremony that brings together the disparate threads of your life into a potent, symbolic experience of any scale - from just two people to hundreds. Honouring the changes in our lives benefits both us as individuals, and helps to shift collective numbness into healing, flow, and joy.
*Please note that I’m not legally registered as a celebrant (someone who signs the contract), and I’m not really interested in that. To discuss what I offer specifically for weddings, please get in touch.

Services
I can offer any of these services on it’s own, or combine two or more of them into a package. It goes without saying that the nature of the work I do is for individuals or groups who are nurturing human cultures for the betterment of all life. I know that you found me because that includes you too.
Event Design
If you have a vision, I can help you bring it to life. If your project is at an advanced stage but you’re struggling to land it, I can give you practical advice about how to reach your goals, and create an amazing attendee experience. I can also help you with the development of online courses and other forms of digital events, including User Experience (UX) and writing website content (in a past life I was a journalist). I know from experience what will and won’t work, and I can help you translate what you imagine into reality.
Event Management
When you’ve put so much effort into creating an event, you deserve to enjoy it. Having an event manager means you can hand over some of the weight to someone who has a wide-angle view on everything that’s going on. I offer an ideation-to-payout service, which includes marketing, volunteer management, and whatever other specialty tasks are required for your event. I can help you visualise the flow of the event so that your run sheets are realistic and that everyone is on the same page at all times.
Site Management
This is my favourite part. This encompasses everything that happens during the live event. It covers how all the details amount to the attendee experience – are the portoloos too close to the stage? Or too far? How easy it is to find the front desk to register? Who’s going to tell this long-winded presenter their time is done? Me! Site management includes working directly with all parties present on site, including but not limited to facilitators, performers, sound tech, photographers, volunteers, a lost child, your lost inner child, etc, etc, etc. This dynamic role is the most fun part of the whole process for me.
Branding, Marketing and Graphic Design
I can help you develop a visual identity based on the personality of your event. I have a background in Graphic Design and I can design marketing materials including logos, posters, social media posts, and more. I’ve previously worked as a journalist, professional writer, and had a career in marketing, so I can also help with written marketing material. I made this website, and wrote and designed all the content, so you can judge my abilities here. I also designed and filmed all the videos, but I don’t offer those services, because tech is not my genius zone. But I can refer you to people who do.
